This is a new painting called “Trespassing”. Along with colour, I plan on adding text around the edges of the canvas, to be illuminated by a mirror-clad frame. A poem inspired this painting:

It is a beach, rock face and outlet drawn from memory, close to Fort LaCloche - long contested territory between the Sagamok Anishnabek First Nation and the Crown.
